| My name is Liz Jewell and I live with my wonderful family in Perth, Western Australia. The collar idea hit me when Cleo the Pharaoh Hound came to live with us in early May 2007. Cleo is an elegant sight hound resembling the Pharaoh god Anubis so just couldn’t see her in a normal buckle collar. Finding a “fancy collar” in Australia proved to be a task on its own. Finally found a beautiful collar in USA and wished there was someone here in Australia who made and sold them. That is when it all started.

| I purchased an industrial sewing machine in May 2007, did a lot of research on webbings, materials and hardware to make a quality collar. I had to learn to sew again because these machines are very different to handle then a household machine.
I started off by selling collars on eBay and now in January 2008 upgraded to my own site.

| My plans for the future is attending markets in WA for some more promotion of products available, bring in a gorgeous leather collar collection from USA and cross fingers add my own dog coats.
Apart from sewing I am a full time mum with my youngest at 3 years of age. I also actively show and breed cairn terriers under the prefix Banmhor

| I would like to thank my husband Mark who is and has been very supportive while I am making my idea in to reality. If it wasn't for his good advise and help this still would just be a good idea.

| Here I would also like to mention that Mark was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia in June 2003. He has already survived his life expectancy of three years after diagnose and we just have to thank the new drug on the market, Glivec. Is this the beginning of finding a cure?
We are quiet supporters of the Leukaemia Foundation and do regular donations to help and hoping there will one day be a cure.......
